RS: Allow movement for those over 65 twice a week

BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković, President of Republika Srpska Željka Cvijanović, BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik, Chairman of the Council of Ministers Zoran Tegeltija, Minister of Health and Social Protection Alen Šeranić, and Secretary General of the Government of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan held a meeting of the Main Coordination Team today, regarding the current situation caused by the novel coronavirus.

The meeting reviewed the current epidemiological situation in Republika Srpska and the implementation of measures taken so far by the institutions of Republika Srpska to combat the coronavirus.

It was recommended to the Republika Srpska Headquarters for Emergency Situations to amend certain conclusions, with an emphasis on the Conclusion on the restriction and prohibition of movement of persons in the territory of Republika Srpska. The aim is to allow persons aged 65 and over to move two days a week so they can collect pensions and buy groceries. Movement would be allowed on Tuesdays and Fridays from 7 AM to 10 AM.

The meeting reiterated the appeal to citizens to respect the prescribed protective measures against the coronavirus, and to persons in home isolation to strictly adhere to the prescribed measures.
