RS gets an illegal government led by Prime Minister Savo Minić

(Patria) - The National Assembly of RS elected a new government of RS at a special session in Banja Luka this evening, led by Prime Minister Savo Minić.

50 deputies voted for the election of the new government, while one was against.

The new entity government has no legal basis, as the mandate was given to Minić on August 23 by Milorad Dodik, who was stripped of his position as President of RS by the Central Election Commission of BiH a few days earlier.



According to the entity Constitution, the President of RS proposes a candidate for Prime Minister to the National Assembly.

Following the verdict of the Court of BiH and the decision of the Central Election Commission of BiH, RS is without a president, as neither laws nor the state and entity constitutions stipulate who takes over that function in case it becomes vacant.

The new illegal government of RS will consist of the following personnel:

‣ Minister of Internal Affairs Željko Budimir;
‣ Minister of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education Siniša Karan;
‣ Minister of Transport and Communications Zoran Stevanović;
‣ Minister of Energy and Mining Petar Đokić;
‣ Minister of Health and Social Protection Alen Šeranić;
‣ Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation Zlatan Klokić;
‣ Minister of Education and Culture Borivoje Golubović;
‣ Minister of Spatial Planning, Construction and Ecology Bojan Vipotnik;
‣ Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship Vojin Mitrović;
‣ Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Anđelka Kuzmić;
‣ Minister of Trade and Tourism Denis Šulić;
‣ Minister of Justice Goran Selak;
‣ Minister of Labor and War Veterans' Protection Danijel Egić;
‣ Minister of Administration and Local Self-Government Senka Јujić; and
‣ Minister of Family, Youth and Sports Selma Čabrić.
