Cristiano Ronaldo is competing at the European Championship with the Portuguese national team, and before the start of the competition, he revealed his favorites, writes Index, reports the Patria News Agency.

"France, as hosts, can go very far. Then there are the world champions, the Germans, who are always favorites, and now they come to the competition even stronger. How can you forget Italy? Of course, there are also the defending champions, the Spanish," said Ronaldo.

His Portugal will play in Group F with Iceland, Austria, and Hungary.

"Austria and Hungary are strong teams and can surprise many, and Iceland finished ahead of the Netherlands in their group. I guess that says enough about them."
