Rok Elsner is the new FK Željezničar player

Slovenian international Rok Elsner today signed a one-year contract with FK Željezničar, reports the Patria agency.

Rok Elsner was born on January 25, 1986, in Ljubljana. He went through the youth academy of French Nice, and then played for Wehen, Interblock, Al-Shabab, Haugesund, Slask Wroclaw, Aris, Energie Cottbus, Grudziadz, HN Billows, and Domžale.

He had his most notable appearances for Slovenian Interblock, for which he played 93 matches, and for Polish Slask, for which he played 73 matches and won the Polish championship and the Super Cup of that country.

Last season he was a member of Domžale with whom he won the Slovenian Cup.

Elsner went through all the youth national teams of Slovenia, plays as a defensive midfielder, and has signed a one-year contract with the Blues.

Elsner will be eligible to play after the league break due to national team matches.
