Exhibition match between mothers from Sarajevo and Niš

Sarajevo will host the International Football Tournament (Sarajevo Summer Cup) from June 27 to June 30, 2014. As the tournament coordinator Nermin Demirović told the BH news agency, the participation of 1100 children from 5 age groups (born in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006) is expected.

- So far, we have confirmed participation of children from BiH, Austria, Serbia, Croatia, Kosovo, and we are in negotiations with Hungary, Montenegro, and Macedonia – states Demirović.

All matches will be held at the Otoka stadium, and a 6x4 meter video wall will be set up to follow the matches of the World Football Championship in Brazil. The special guest of this tournament will be the football club “Guber“ from Srebrenica, writes NAP. The secretary of FK “Guber“, Cvijetin Maksimović, told Patria that this invitation is of great importance to them.

- As management, we are very pleased to be invited as special guests, but the children from “Guber“ are even more pleased. Great support and praise to the organizer who invited us to participate in the tournament – says Maksimović.

Interestingly, all matches will be officiated by licensed female referees, and an exhibition match will be held between mothers from Sarajevo and mothers from Niš. Sarajevo football clubs “Sarajevo“ and “Željezničar“ have also confirmed their participation in this tournament.
