Bosnia and Herzegovina national team ready for Bulgaria, Roma asks Prosinečki not to play Džeko

RAZGRAD, (Patria) - The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team will play a friendly match against the host team Bulgaria in Razgrad on Friday, and our players had a training session on Wednesday.

All players completed the training without major difficulties, including Ognjen Vranješ, who had complained of an injury in the previous days.

Haris Medunjanin is one of the more experienced players in the BiH national team and has already had the opportunity to meet coach Prosinečki and the new professional staff during friendly matches in America.

He has only words of praise for them, as well as for the young players he met during the tour.

- We are starting a new cycle with a new coach, and my first impressions are truly great. There are young players who can be counted on, so this is an opportunity to get to know each other even better.

When it comes to the match against Bulgaria, Medunjanin believes they are a good team.

- An opponent we must respect. We need to show ourselves, especially since we did not qualify for the World Cup, and convince the coach that we can be counted on. The weather conditions are not the best, and it will be the same for them, so I believe the match will be difficult, but the result should be in our favor – stated the Philadelphia Union player.

The team captain and our best player, Edin Džeko, might miss the matches against Bulgaria and Senegal, although he is with the rest of the team and training hard.

Namely, the management of Roma sent a request to coach Prosinečki to spare Džeko in these matches due to important games that Roma expects in the continuation of the season.

According to some information from our team, Prosinečki might grant Roma's request, but there is still no official confirmation.

Tonight, our players have their last training session, after which Prosinečki should know the lineup that will play on Friday at 6 PM against Bulgaria in Razgrad.
