Red Cross Society of BiH First Aid Team Concludes Preparatory Camp

The Red Cross Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina team for the European First Aid Competition (FACE) stayed at Boračko Lake from July 29 to August 2, 2015, at a preparatory camp for the upcoming competition to be held in September in Romania, reports the Patria News Agency.

Transportation to and from Boračko Lake was provided by the Red Cross of Sarajevo Canton, and the camp itself was organized by the Red Cross of the City of Mostar, led by secretary Alen Kajtaz.

The team underwent fitness training in the morning and evening hours, and during the day, practiced techniques and speed in treating injuries, triage exercises, and codes. On August 2, polygons were set up at various locations on Boračko Lake, simulating the FACE competition.

In addition to the team of 6 members, 2 trainers and a group of 6 role-players participated in the camp.
