Repeša new coach of the BiH basketball Dragons, Gordić returns to the national team

In the past few hours, I have had a hundred conversations with the leaders of the Basketball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The situation is as it is, Duško Vujošević cannot lead the team due to health reasons, nor can Mensur Bajramović who got a job in Hong Kong, so it is very important at this moment to help the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said Jasmin Repeša, the new coach of the BiH basketball team in an interview for scsport.ba, reports Patria.

As he says, it will be an honor to be the coach of the Dragons, but he does not want to make any sensational statements. He is aware of everything that is happening in BiH sports. He will lead the team in the matches against Finland and the Czech Republic.

- Who wouldn't like this story. I am currently unemployed due to circumstances, so it coincided. However, many players will not be able to come to the gathering on Monday, and that is a big problem for me. But, anyway, I believe that this national team has the potential and quality to achieve great things. As a person, I am very demanding of myself and others, I am full of energy and I want others around me to be the same. If someone is not like that, I usually push them away, and if I can't push them away, I leave myself - Repeša said.

He also contacted Vujošević for advice.

- Well, of course, this is Vujošević's project, I didn't make this roster, I don't even know most of the players. I spoke with Dulet and we talked for a long time - said Repeša.

At the end of the conversation, Repeša confirmed that Gordić is returning to the national team.

- Gordić will definitely play, we have already spoken. Unfortunately, he will not be able to come on Monday either - concluded Repeša, who is expected to arrive in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina tomorrow.

Repeša built his coaching career in Croatia, where he coached Cibona, Split, Cedevita. He was also the coach of the Croatian national team. He also coached other major teams such as Fortitudo Bologna, Virtus Roma, Benetton, Unicaja.
