(Patria) - Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dubravka Bošnjak met today with Reis-ul-ulema Husein-ef. Kavazović at the headquarters of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Organ donation in BiH was the central topic of the conversation and support for this important initiative, especially in the context of greater public awareness and education.
Minister Bošnjak presented the activities undertaken so far by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH, including the marking of the European Organ Donation Day, which will be held on October 14th in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
During the meeting, the importance of cooperation between religious institutions in promoting donation as a humane and vital act that can save many lives across the country, while respecting moral principles, was emphasized.
