Reisu-l-ulema Kavazović congratulates Cardinal Puljić on Easter

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Reisu-l-ulema Husein ef. Kavazović, on the occasion of the Catholic holiday of Easter, sent congratulations to the Archbishop of Vrhbosna, Cardinal Vinko Puljić.

The Reisu-l-ulema's congratulatory message stated: "I extend congratulations to you and all Catholics in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of the Catholic holiday of Easter, wishing you to spend it in happiness and prosperity. In these difficult times of trial, we especially need God's mercy, but also neighborly and human solidarity and compassion. It is difficult to see our churches and mosques empty, but it would be harder to see human hearts without faith, love, and hope. Therefore, in these festive days, I wish to encourage you with this congratulatory message and the message that we are together in this ordeal from which, by the will of the Merciful, we will emerge only more determined and stronger."
