Reis Kavazović on the observance of Sretenje in Banja Luka: Destructive policies must be stopped in the interest of peace

(Patria) - Reisul-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein-ef. Kavazović stated that the unconstitutional institutional observance of a foreign country's holiday by a part of the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina represents a blow to the foundations of the state and the destruction of the country's state sovereignty.

- If state bodies and state representatives do not undertake legally prescribed activities in this case, it is an act of aggression against the state and complicity in its creation by those who constitute that authority - said the Reisul-ulema for MINA Agency, commenting on the joint observance of Sretenje - the Statehood Day of Serbia and the non-existent "statehood day" of the Republika Srpska entity in Banja Luka.

He assessed that this act represents a serious undermining of peace and stability, to which state bodies must react.

- We cannot allow ourselves to get used to new realities being created for us. It is evident that some destructive policies have decided to see how far they can go in dismantling this state and its sovereignty. In the interest of peace and stability, they must be stopped - Kavazović conveyed.
