Reis Kavazović and Jerlagić: Returnees must be protected

The President of the Party for BiH Amer Jerlagić met today with the reisu-l-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein ef. Kavazović in the Rijaset building in Sarajevo, reports the Patria news agency.

During the meeting, they discussed the position of returnees in the smaller BiH entity, as well as the situation regarding attacks on the Bosnian language in that part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Jerlagić emphasized that he will continue the fight for returnees and their rights, and will use all capacities to protect the Bosnian language, which cannot be negotiated or bargained over. He stressed that the security of returnees must be guaranteed, and that all domestic and international institutions responsible for the human rights of returnees, including the right to language, must be involved.

Reis Kavazović said that there is no people without a language, and welcomed the efforts of the SBiH president in the fight to protect returnees and their rights, it was announced from SBiH.
