Rebalanced budget of ZDK for 2025 increased by 12.5 million KM

(Patria) - The Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton at today's session, chaired in the absence of Prime Minister Nezir Pivić by the authorized prime minister and Minister of Finance Dženana Čišija (DF), adopted the Amendments to the ZDK Budget for 2025, confirmed Minister Čišija to Fena.

Revenues and receipts of the amended ZDK budget for 2025 amount to 711,780,320 KM and are higher by 12,474,670 KM compared to the Budget Plan for 2025, which was adopted at the end of last year.

"All planned revenues are aligned with the revised projections of the Federal Ministry of Finance, submitted on May 23, 2025. Expenditures and outlays of the amendments to the ZDK budget for this year are planned in the amount of 704,716,614 KM and are higher by 12,282,360 KM compared to the Budget Plan for 2025," said Čišija.

Planned funds for the execution of court judgments, through amendments, remained the same as in the Budget Plan for this year, for which about 15.5 million KM is planned. The larger part of this amount, about 14,000,000 KM, pertains to the execution of court judgments under the ZDK Action Plan for settling court judgments to budget beneficiaries.

"In the amendments, a surplus of 7,263,706 KM is planned, which is slightly higher than the planned surplus stated in the Budget Plan for this year," emphasized Čišija.

At the proposal of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, funds were approved for sports associations, sports clubs, associations of persons with disabilities, and individual athletes from the ZDK area in the amount of 1,525,350 KM.

"These are funds distributed based on a public call issued by the mentioned ministry," said Čišija.

The ZDK Government today also adopted a proposal for a Decision on approving funds under the Public Call for the implementation of programs, projects, and related activities in the field of environmental protection for 2025, worth 730,000 KM.

"These are three LOTS that we allocate every year. This year, only one new LOT was added, for special waste categories - collection and recycling of special waste categories (waste tires, accumulators and batteries, waste oils, and end-of-life vehicles). Since this type of LOT appears for the first time, the response was smaller, but in the coming period we expect more applicants. This time, only 'ALBA' Zenica applied," said Minister of Environment Adnan Šabani.

Every year, funds are allocated to assist public utility companies of municipalities and cities that deal with the collection of municipal waste and its disposal at the Regional Landfill "Mošćanica" Zenica.
