The war seems to have just ended: Students in Gornji Vakuf lack even basic sports equipment

More than 300 students from the "Pajić polje" Elementary School in Gornji Vakuf would be grateful to anyone who would help them acquire some sports equipment for physical education classes, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

The school attended by diligent students from Gornji Vakuf was heavily damaged during the war. Through the efforts of the school management and teachers, the building has been partially renovated, but they have not yet managed to find funds to renovate the gymnasium.

Saudin Čajdin, the school principal, told the Patria agency that the reconstruction of the gymnasium is a major investment that the school cannot finance on its own, so donor assistance would be welcome.

- The parquet floor in the school is destroyed. Children often get injured during physical education classes - says Čajdin, adding that his students also lack sports equipment such as balls, mats, and nets, so such a donation would greatly please them.

Students, regardless of the conditions in which they work, achieve good results in school competitions, writes Patria.
