Public procurement announced for 25 new buses and minibuses worth over 8.5 million KM

(Patria) - A public procurement for the purchase of 25 buses and minibuses, divided into two LOTs, was published today on the public procurement portal, with LOT 1 being the procurement of minibuses and LOT 2 the procurement of solo buses.

Fifteen minibuses and 10 solo buses are the subject of this procurement, and the funds are secured by the budget.

The Minister of Transport of Sarajevo Canton, Adnan Šteta, stated on the occasion of announcing this procurement that he is satisfied with the continuation of investments in public transport.

- The announcement of this procurement is the result of analyses of bus and minibus traffic, which must be of higher quality and more functional.

I am proud that with the purchase of buses and minibuses, citizens will have a higher quality and better service, and that we are continuing to invest in public transport, in order to make the quality and standard of living as good as possible - Šteta added.

The estimated value of the minibus procurement is 3.75 million KM excluding VAT, and for buses 4.8 million KM excluding VAT.

The procurement of vehicles is another significant step in the reform of public transport that has been taking place in Sarajevo Canton in recent years, the Ministry points out.

The deadline for submitting offers is October 30, 2025.
