Public call issued for road rehabilitation on Nemila – Bistričak – Teslić and Breza – Vareš routes

(Patria) - The rehabilitation of regional roads R473 Nemila – Bistričak – Teslić and R444 Breza – Vareš is the subject of a public call issued by the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Transport, Communications and Environmental Protection of the Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Cantonal Road Directorate of ZDK today, with the aim of selecting the most favorable contractor.

From the Budget of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, 400,000 KM has been secured for the rehabilitation of the Nemila – Bistričak – Teslić road with the construction of a pedestrian path. For the rehabilitation of the roadway on the Breza – Vareš road, 480,000 KM is planned in the Budget.

- I am pleased to say that we are finalizing the process of publishing public calls planned for the reconstruction and modernization of regional roads in the Zenica-Doboj Canton in 2025.

We are opening new public works every day across the entire canton, creating conditions for better road traffic, and thus for a better and safer life for residents, as well as faster economic development. In the coming period, we still need to complete the publication of public calls for the preparation of project-technical documentation for sections of regional roads in the Zenica-Doboj Canton, so that next year we will have ready projects and start public works and investments in road infrastructure even more vigorously - says Adnan Šabani, Minister of Spatial Planning, Transport, Communications and Environmental Protection of the Zenica-Doboj Canton.

Over the past year, the relevant cantonal ministry and the Government of ZDK have financed the modernization and construction of a pedestrian path along the R445 Nemila – Zenica road and more than one kilometer of roadway on the Breza – Vareš route, the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Transport, Communications and Environmental Protection of ZDK announced.
