Road works in BiH dictate traffic flow

(Patria) - On the Tuzla-Bijeljina highway (Banj Brdo), passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons are using one lane alternately, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons remains suspended.

Movement of all vehicles over the bridge on the Dobro Polje-Miljevina highway is prohibited. Vehicles with a total weight of up to 3.5 tons can use the roads over Grepak or Kalinovik (there is 19 km of macadam road), while trucks must use the roads via Rogatica and Ustipraca.

Traffic is slowed down on the Zvornik-Priboj regional road (in Goduš), using one lane.

Due to road repair works on the A-1 Kakanj-Lašva section of the highway, the left side of the highway is closed for a length of 3 km. During the works, vehicles are directed to use both directions on the right side, in the direction of Lašva-Kakanj.

Due to necessary works on the sections of the A-1 Sarajevo sjever-Podlugovi and Sarajevo zapad-Lepenica highways, traffic is redirected to the overtaking lane.

Due to expansion joint repair works on the bridge on the M-17 Konjic-Tarčin highway (before the Bradina tunnel), traffic is redirected from the driving lane to the overtaking lane.

On the Jablanica-Blidinje highway, traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons remains suspended.

At border crossings, waiting times are up to 30 minutes.

Due to passenger registration under the new European Union entry/exit system (EES), longer delays at border crossings are possible.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. From December 2, 2025, the Karakaj border crossing will be open for all categories of vehicles. Traffic for all trucks is prohibited at the Šepak border crossing.

On the occasion of Orthodox Easter, the transport of explosives in Bosnia and Herzegovina is prohibited tonight until midnight.
