Radončić after dismissal: This even suits me

The House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament dismissed the Minister of Security of BiH Fahrudina Radončića (SBB). 28 representatives voted for the dismissal, nine were against, and five abstained, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

Thus, the initiative of the Party of Democratic Action was adopted, which sought Radončić's dismissal, claiming that he did not react adequately after the riots on February 7.

After the dismissal, Radončić stated that he was "proud and satisfied to be dismissed by those who fear the people and who fear the fight against systemic corruption that he initiated".

- I am proud that no one forced me to form illegal headquarters and beat my people. We remain a strong opposition and this even suits me, as I will be able to deal with other matters, said Radončić, without specifying whether the Deputy Minister of Finance from SBB, Edita Đapo, will also resign from the Council of Ministers of BiH.

The head of the SDA club, Asim Sarajlić, said after the dismissal that "a new political action begins with this act".

Asked if the SDA would now take over that position in the Council of Ministers, Sarajlić said that the party did not want to return to the Council of Ministers with this initiative, but emphasized that the SDA president Sulejman Tihić had created a Platform. Sarajlić said that it would not be the first time that a deputy minister performs the function until the elections, adding that the SDA will continue to negotiate with everyone who sits in the BiH Parliament.

- Given that this decision must go before the House of Peoples of BiH, and that the Croatian caucus is dominated by HDZ BiH and HDZ 1990, who were against it today, we should wait for the outcome of the vote. However, we hope that Radončić understood the message of this vote, said Sarajlić.
