Radončić: I hope for a victory of SBB, SDP and DF, Izetbegović will nominate his wife for the Presidency

The president of SBB Fahrudin Radončić was a guest on N1 television's "Dan uživo" where he also spoke about the upcoming General Elections in 2018. Given that it is increasingly heard that Radončić will enter the race for the Bosniak member of the Presidency for the third time, he stated that the party bodies will decide on this, reports Patria news agency.

- I am scaring them with my candidacy. The party bodies will decide on the candidate, and SBB is a serious party. In March, we will request candidacies from municipal and cantonal boards - Radončić said.

When asked if it is true that he is arranging a coalition with Nermin Nikšić and Željko Komšić, the presidents of SDP BiH and DF, respectively, that they will be on a joint list, with Radončić as a candidate for the BiH Presidency member, Nikšić as federal prime minister, and Komšić as BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs, he said that no such negotiations have taken place.

- On the other hand, SDP and DF see the future of BiH through the concept of BiH's Euro-Atlantic path, while preserving our traditions, in exactly the same way. I do not see SDP and DF sharing the stance with SDA in terms of radicalization. SDP and DF did not fare well in coalitions with SDA. I sincerely hope that after the 2018 elections, this concept on which SBB, DF, and SDP are based will win with at least 2/3 of the votes - Radončić believes, who did not rule out the possibility of a coalition with SDP and DF.

 

He gave an interesting answer to the question of who he expects from the Party of Democratic Action, even though the president of that party gave four possible names: Denis Zvizdić, Safet Softić, Šefik Džaferović, and Adil Osmanović.

- I personally think and publicly predict that Bakir Izetbegović will use their candidacies to confront his people in factional struggles, and then he will decide on his wife, Sebija Izetbegović, because he does not have the courage to hand over the Intelligence Service and many state levers of power to anyone but her - Radončić stated.
