Workers of "Ginex", a company from the defense industry from Goražde, have stopped working and gone on a work-to-rule strike.
The reason for their protest is that their demand for an increase in hourly wage to 6.15 KM was not met.
They are now demanding that the Supervisory Board address them and explain why the hourly wage will not be increased, and they emphasize that they will not leave the factory premises until they are addressed.
The management of Ginex proposed to the Supervisory Board an increase to 6.15 KM for a period of six months, which the Supervisory Board rejected at today's telephone session, sticking to the proposal for a 20 percent increase with a reduction in personal coefficients.
The majority owner of "Ginex" is the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has not yet reacted to the news of the strike.
