Working meeting between Konaković and Forto with OHR delegation

(Patria) - Chairman of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly Elmedin Konaković and Canton Prime Minister Edin Forto met today with the First Deputy High Representative in BiH Michael Scanlan.

The First Deputy High Representative discussed with the leaders of Sarajevo Canton the situation and activities of the cantonal authorities aimed at improving the living standards of the citizens of this Canton.

"I am pleased to hear about the numerous activities in the Canton as well as many projects that will be launched in the near future with the aim of improving public administration services, including amendments to the existing Law on Public Gatherings, which will allow the voice of the citizens in the Canton to be heard better," said the First Deputy High Representative.

It was stated at the meeting that, with the support that the OHR will provide to the reform processes in the Canton, cooperation will also be established in the creation of laws and regulations in accordance with international standards.
