Vogošća residents' radiators lukewarm tonight, full heating capacity from tomorrow morning

(Patria) - The Ministry of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton announced that the supply of thermal energy to the citizens of Vogošća will begin tonight.

During the evening hours, radiators will be lukewarm, while from tomorrow morning heating will be at full capacity.

The Ministry has, for the first time, timely secured funds and energy, however, the heating season in Vogošća could not start on time due to technical difficulties.

Although the work on commissioning the boiler was completed on Saturday, the company Bags Energotehnika d.d. faced burst heating pipes in two places.

Thanks to the assistance of employees from KJKP Toplane Sarajevo, these malfunctions were successfully resolved. These are boilers and heating pipes built over 50 years ago, which makes it difficult to predict when new difficulties or malfunctions may occur.

In order to permanently solve this problem, the Ministry is continuing the initiated activities on the project of building a new heating plant in Vogošća, which will provide citizens of this municipality with long-term stable and reliable heating.
