Mostly wet pavement and moderate traffic characterize the traffic situation in BiH this morning. Due to new precipitation, occasional landslides or rockfalls are possible, especially on sections passing through cuts. Drivers are asked to drive carefully, adjusting to road conditions, reports the Patria news agency.
Due to works on the repair of expansion joints on two bridges on the A-1 Podlugovi-Sarajevo north highway section, traffic (over a length of approximately 4 km) is moving in both directions, using the right traffic lane.
Due to damage to the pavement on the M-5 main road Transit through Sarajevo, the traffic regime has been changed. Vehicles over 7.5 tons use the passage through the city, while vehicles up to 7.5 tons and buses use the alternative route: from the direction of Pale, the route: Bistrik-Hamdije Kreševljakovića-Terezija-Vraca, and from the opposite direction, the route: Dolac Malta-Azize Šaćirbegović-Vraca intersection-Terezija-Bistrik.
Traffic is also slower on other sections where repair works are being carried out, notably on the routes: Jajce-Banja Luka, Konjic-Jablanica, Jablanica-Prozor, Čapljina-Stolac and Doboj Gračanica.
There are no longer delays at border crossings, BIHAMK announced.
