SARAJEVO, (Patria) - With a gunshot from a cannon at the Yellow Fortress, as well as several other locations in Sarajevo, fasting individuals welcomed the first iftar of the holy month of Ramadan.
Due to bad weather at the Yellow Fortress, a well-known gathering place in Sarajevo during Ramadan, there were not many visitors, nor on the streets of Sarajevo, except in front of Sarajevo bakeries where people waited for warm somun (flatbread), without which the iftar table is unimaginable.
