Shooting in Sanski Most, Alen Šabanović the target of the attack, sustained severe injuries

(Patria) - A shooting occurred in Sanski Most last night, in which one person sustained severe injuries.

As confirmed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Una-Sana Canton, investigative actions are underway to clarify this event.

The injured person was transported to the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska in Banja Luka to receive adequate medical assistance.

As reported by RTV Sana, Alen Šabanović, a businessman from Sanski Most and president of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Sanski Most, was injured in the shooting.

"After locking up the fitness center in Banjalučka Street, which is owned by him, under still unclear circumstances being investigated by police and prosecution authorities, an unknown masked individual jumped out from a nearby fence and shot Šabanović with a firearm. The businessman from Sanski Most was wounded in the legs, and the attacker fled. Šabanović was very quickly treated at the Emergency Service of the Health Center and the General Hospital in Sanski Most, but due to the severity of his injuries, he was immediately transported to the Clinical Center in Banja Luka, where he has been in the intensive care unit since last night.

According to unofficial information, Šabanović is severely wounded in both thighs and faces surgical procedures. He is one of the most prominent businessmen in Sanski Most who invests the most in his city and reinvests profits into new entrepreneurial ventures.
