Shooting in Kiseljak: One woman dead, another seriously injured

(Patria) - One person was killed, and another was injured in a shooting that occurred this morning in the Jehovac settlement in Kiseljak.

"On 18.05.2026, at 07:55, the Kiseljak Police Station received a phone call from an unknown person reporting the use of firearms in the Jehovac settlement, municipality of Kiseljak. Police officers from the Kiseljak Police Station were dispatched to the scene, confirming the report, i.e., that firearms were used by M.P., born in 1972, from Kiseljak, against two close family members (female), one of whom died, while the other was seriously injured. 

Members of the Special Support Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Central Bosnia Canton/Kanton Sarajevo Travnik are currently working to locate, find, and apprehend the perpetrator of the mentioned criminal offense. You will be promptly informed of all further measures and actions taken by the police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Central Bosnia Canton/Kanton Sarajevo regarding the mentioned event," stated the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Central Bosnia Canton.
