(Patria) - The first person was buried today at the new Gradsko cemetery Radimlja–Poprati in Stolac since the cemetery was built this summer.
Buried was Asim Ivanković from Stolac, a former camp inmate and long-time resident of Stolac, who passed away at the age of 83 in the Swedish city of Malmö.
During the war year of 1993, he was taken to the Gabela camp where he spent six months.
At the family's request, the funeral prayer and burial were held in Stolac, and numerous residents of Stolac, as well as citizens from other towns and places, came to pay their final respects.
