FBiH Judo Championship: ON1 Won the Most Medals

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - ON1 Judo Club had the most competitors and also finished as the most successful club at the Federation of BiH Judo Championship for all age groups up to seniors, which was held on March 16th in Vogošća.

The ON1 club won 23 medals at the championship, which is an exceptional number of medals compared to other clubs that competed.

“The championship featured mostly clubs with decades of tradition, some with a tradition of over 50 years, unlike the ON1 Judo Club, which was founded only a few years ago,” said coach and president of ON1 Club, Karim Hebib.

“Therefore, the satisfaction is even greater, especially since we competed with young athletes who are just beginning their competitive careers. This is another proof and confirmation of the quality and successful work we have started, the fruits of which we are yet to expect,” added Hebib.

ON1 is particularly proud of the team of young female athletes from the ON1 club.

Out of the six who competed at the championship, four became champions: Amina Merjem Hebib, Zahra Handan, Narin Handan, and Lejla Karić. Two athletes, Emina Ićindić and Azra Hadžić, became vice-champions.

ON1 fighters who won medals and those who competed at the Federation of BiH Championship are: Mustafa Hebib, Benjamin Hasanović, Emin Borušić, Emir Sabljaković, Ali Handan, Amor Bihorac, Ismail Alibegović, Abdulah Šljivo, Mesud Pupović, Muhamed Šehović, Ali Pupović, Din Karišik, Emin Šljivo, Omer Hadžić, Bakir Gobeljić, Imran Šehović, Rijad Smajlović, Adi Bihorac, Emin Kasalo, Zinedin Kadrić, Amin Đulić, Ilan Filipović, Hamza Šehović, Vahdet Karić.

“This success is the result of quality and dedicated work, a correct system, expertise, good partnerships and friendly relations with the most significant judo centers and relevant individuals in the world, as well as the work of our club management led by Adnan Hadžić,” said Hebib.
