(Patria) - The draw for the European Championship play-offs, to be held in Germany in 2024, took place today at UEFA headquarters in Nyon.
Bosnia and Herzegovina's opponent in the semi-finals will be Ukraine.
Commenting on the draw, Dragons' coach Savo Milošević said there are both positive and negative aspects.
The negative aspect, he says, is that we drew the strongest team out of the 12 that were in the draw for the semi-finals.
Milošević stated from Nyon that he expects the duel between the Dragons and Ukraine to be very difficult.
- We all know Ukraine's quality. They could have easily qualified through the group stage.
On the other hand, we have the possibility to play both the first and, hopefully, the second match at home, which is an advantage in such games.
So we can be moderately satisfied. We have two home games if we want to go to the European Championship.
We knew it wouldn't be easy and that it wasn't Ukraine. This type of play-off is always demanding - assessed Milošević.
Watch the videos below to hear what coach Milošević and the director of the "A" national team, Zvjezdan Misimović, said after the draw.
