First Conference of the Disaster Risk Reduction Platform of FBiH

(Patria) - The Federal Civil Protection Administration, in cooperation with the UN in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is organizing the First Conference of the Disaster Risk Reduction Platform of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo today, on the topic "Assessing and Mapping Risks from Natural and Other Disasters".

The conference is organized within the framework of the implementation of the Joint Program "Disaster Risk Reduction for Sustainable Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina" - Phase I (2024-2027).

The Federal Civil Protection Administration emphasizes that the conference is organized with the aim of improving the multi-sectoral approach to disaster risk reduction through dialogue, exchange of experiences, and internationally recognized practices.

The meeting will start at 9:30 AM in the main hall of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, and statements for the media are planned after the opening of the conference and introductory addresses at 10:05 AM, as announced by the Office of the Government of the FBiH for Public Relations.
