First European match: Olimpic draws with Spartak at Koševo

Olimpic footballers played their first match of the 1st qualifying round of the Europa League against Spartak Trnava at the "Asim Ferhatović Hase" stadium. Mirza Varešanović's team ended with a 1:1 draw.

Olimpic took the lead in the 14th minute with a goal by Dalibor Pandža, following a well-executed counterattack by the hosts. This match is Olimpic's first in European competitions, and it was officiated by Polish referee Daniel Stefanski. For Spartak Trnava, the goal was scored by Halilović. Let us recall, Olimpic secured their European appearance by winning the BiH Cup, while Široki Brijeg ended empty-handed.
