Representatives from RS and HDZ voted against: House of Representatives of PS BiH did not put Resolution on protection of BiH constitutional order on agenda

(Patria) - On behalf of 14 representatives, SDA Club leader Šerif Špago requested that the Resolution on the protection of BiH's constitutional order, with a call for decisive action, be included on the agenda of the House of Representatives of PS BiH. This proposal was rejected at the extended Collegium of the House of Representatives of PS BiH, so the House itself voted on it. This proposal was signed by representatives of SDA, DF, and NES.

24 representatives voted in favor, 16 against, with no entity majority. All representatives of parties from RS and HDZ BiH voted against.

"There will be a second round of decision-making at the next collegium coordination," said the Speaker of the House, Denis Zvizdić.

This resolution calls for the PIC, OHR, and the states that are witnesses to the Dayton Peace Agreement to react decisively and stop the attack on BiH's constitutional order by the authorities of RS by adopting and publishing the Law on Non-application of decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH.

The resolution supports the decisions of the High Representative that he took to annul these laws.

"The House of Representatives of PS BiH calls on all competent bodies and institutions of BiH to act urgently in order to prosecute and sanction official and responsible persons in the authorities of the RS entity for the attack on the Constitutional Court of BiH, the attempt to change the constitutional order of BiH, and the failure to act on the decisions of the High Representative in BiH, which constitutes a serious violation of the Dayton Peace Agreement, and thus a disruption of peace and stability in the country and the region.

The Prosecutor's Office of BiH is also called upon to undertake all legal responsibilities and take appropriate measures against all persons responsible for the attack on BiH's constitutional order," it is stated, among other things, in the resolution.
