(Patria) - In the second Super-G race of the Europa Cup, held today in La Thuile, Italy, the only competitor from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elvedina Muzaferija, finished without a result.
After the first run, Muzaferija suffered a fall and skied off the course. Fortunately, the skier got up on her own, and as there was no need for medical team intervention, the race soon continued.
Besides Muzaferija, who started with bib number 40, 23 other competitors did not finish today's race, with the best time of 57.98 seconds set by Karen Clement (FRA). American Tricia Mangan finished second, while Swiss Tricia Mangan took third place.
From the Bosnian team, they report that Muzaferija is feeling well and will continue competing on February 10 and 11 in Crans Montana, also as part of the Europa Cup.
The World Cup in speed disciplines for women continues on February 17 and 18 in the same location.
