
(Patria) - The average monthly net salary per employee in BiH in January was 1,328 KM, which is nominally higher by 2.4 percent and realistically by 2.2 percent compared to the previous month.
Compared to January of last year, the average net salary was nominally higher by 9.9 percent, while the real index was higher by 7.7 percent, according to data from the Agency for Statistics of BiH.
In the information and communication sector, the net salary paid in January was 1,926 KM, in financial and insurance activities 1,860 KM, and in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply 1,837 KM.
The average net salary paid in the first month in the accommodation and food service activities sector was 875 KM, in construction 994 KM, and in wholesale and retail trade, and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles 1,037 KM.
The average monthly gross salary per employee in BiH for January was 2,052 KM, showing a nominal increase of 2.4 percent, and realistically it is higher by 2.2 percent compared to December last year.
The average monthly gross salary for January compared to the same month in 2023 was nominally higher by 10.3 percent, while the real index was higher by 8.1 percent.
