Prosinečki in Zenica presented the members of the national team's coaching staff

ZENICA, (Patria) - The coaching staff of the BiH national team, led by coach Robert Prosinečki, was presented at the training camp in Zenica.

The coaching staff consists of: Gordan Ciprić, Kenan Hasagić, Dragan Spasić, and Elvir Rahimić.

- Yesterday we started preparations for America. We had one training session. One player left the camp (Besim Šerbečić) because he has signed a contract with a foreign club and will not go with us. We will see today who will go. Another player will be dropped because we are taking 18 players and two goalkeepers. Medunjanin, Kvržić, and Šehić will join us there - said Prosinečki.

Gordan Ciprić said it was a pleasure to join the BiH national team.

- The ambitions are clear, and that is to qualify for the European Championship. We believe that the BiH national team has enough quality to achieve it – said Ciprić.

Dragan Spasić emphasized that the first impressions are phenomenal.

- We know our goal and I hope we achieve it – stated the second assistant to coach Prosinečki.

Elvir Rahimić and Kenan Hasagić are back in the national team after their playing careers, but in a different role.

- It is a great thing to be in the national team. It is big for me and Kenan and a step forward. I hope that together, with good work, we will achieve success and go to the EC – said Rahimić.

Kenan Hasagić, former BiH goalkeeper, said that with serious work and approach, he hopes to qualify for a major competition.

Prosinečki then addressed the journalists again, answering their questions.

What is the goal of the matches in America, given that most players will not stay in the national team for long, was the question from one journalist, to which Prosinečki replied:

-You said that. I don't know that until we see those players and play those two matches. The matches in America will be useful because we have a talented U-21 national team and players from the Premier League of BiH who will get a chance to see if they have a chance to play for the national team. America will be with a league team, Mexico a bit stronger. It's a great test for all of us - said Prosinečki.

Reportedly, players from strong leagues are offering themselves to the BiH national team.

- I wouldn't mention names, first let's check them and see if the information is true. Managers are calling... There are players who would like to get citizenship and play for BiH from very serious leagues. Whether that is the reason for my arrival or they haven't seen them before, I don't know. We will definitely go to see them and talk to them to see if they are the right players for us - replied Prosinečki.

On Wednesday, the draw for the Nations League will take place, and coach Prosinečki has no particular preferences regarding potential opponents.

- All national teams are very attractive and very strong. It will be a very interesting competition. Through the Nations League, we can reach the EC, so the best players will play every match."

Prosinečki also emphasized that the national team will continue to prepare in Zenica in the coming period.

- Preparations will be here. No matter how much someone asks if it's monotonous, we came here to prepare. Preparations are in our camp. We have all the conditions we need. We have peace, which is important, we have working conditions. A professional can endure it for seven days without any problems - said Prosinečki.

Prosinečki said that after the Nations League draw, he will think about friendly matches and opponents.
