Prosinečki calls up Hotić, Džeko out for a month

ZENICA, (Patria) - BiH national football team coach Robert Prosinečki has invited Dino Hotić to join the national team's preparations for the matches against Finland (October 12) and Greece (October 15) after receiving confirmation from FIFA to the BiH FA regarding the change of sporting nationality. 

The BiH team will hold its first training session at 6 PM.

BiH national team captain Edin Džeko will miss the next two qualifying matches against Finland due to a double fracture of the cheekbone he sustained yesterday in the match between Roma and Cagliari. He underwent surgery and his recovery will take some time. 

“This situation is certainly disrupting our plans and Edin will be missed, but I believe it is even harder for him. I am aware of everything, we are with him and we wish him a speedy and happy recovery,” said Prosinečki.
