
(Patria) - Two women who went missing in the area of the Central Bosnia Canton have been found alive and well.
As announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Central Bosnia Canton, on 03/29/2026 at 16:10, M.P., born in 1978 from Slovenia, contacted the Novi Travnik Police Station by phone, reporting that her mother E.P., born in 1956, as well as person M.J., born in 1970, were not answering their mobile phones, i.e., were unavailable.
- She stated that she last contacted them on 03/23/2026 around 09:50, and that they were staying at the hostel “Dreams” in Novi Travnik.
Upon receiving the report, police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Central Bosnia Canton/SBK Travnik undertook legally prescribed measures and actions to establish all facts and circumstances, as well as to locate the said persons, and in that regard, all relevant police institutions and partner organizations were informed, and an operational search was initiated for them.
On 03/30/2026 around 23:00, in the locality of Zelen Gora, Kalinovik municipality, the aforementioned persons were located and successfully found by police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska and partner organizations, without visible injuries – announced the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Central Bosnia Canton.
