SALE OF DRETELJ TERMINAL BiH PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE MUST PROTECT STATE PROPERTY

(Patria) - Regarding the information about the scheduled auction for the sale of the Dretelj Terminal, MPs from the Trojka parties (SDP, NiP, and NS) remind that this is state property under a disposal ban and call on the BiH Prosecutor's Office to take decisive and concrete steps in accordance with its mandate and the law.

"We also call on judicial institutions to put an end to rumors through investigation and prosecution about how state property was registered to a private company, under what circumstances, and by whose fault and responsibility.

The attempt to sell state property is completely contrary to the decisions of the OHR, so we also expect a reaction from the High Representative.

State property is of strategic importance for all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and its protection is the foundation for preserving the sovereignty and economic interests of the state.

Any illegal alienation of such property represents a direct blow to the public interest and requires a swift and decisive reaction from the competent institutions," the statement said.
