SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Lana Prlić, a member of the Social Democratic Party of BiH in the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, has submitted to the Government of the Federation of BiH an initiative for amendments to the Criminal Code of the Federation of BiH, which would introduce a life sentence for certain criminal offenses.
MP Prlić says that so far she has submitted several laws to the parliamentary procedure concerning the protection of children, the family, the registry of pedophiles and rapists, and that, inspired by the struggle of Tijana's father, Igor Jurić, she decided it was time to move from words to deeds in the Federation of BiH as well, the SDP announced.
Therefore, she submitted an initiative for amendments to the Criminal Code of the Federation of BiH, which would introduce a life sentence for certain criminal offenses.
"I am aware that it will take a lot of time to implement this, but I want that, after neighboring Serbia adopted this Law, and Montenegro also launched such an initiative, we too start talking about this topic," stated MP Prlić.
