ZDK Economy on the Big Stage: 30 Companies to Present at Celje Industrial Fair

(Patria) - A delegation from the Zenica-Doboj Canton, led by Minister of Economy Samir Šibonjić, is on a working visit to the Republic of Slovenia, where they are participating in the International Industrial Fair in Celje – one of the most significant industrial events in the region.

Minister Šibonjić emphasized that the presence of ZDK at this prestigious fair is a strategically important step towards strengthening international cooperation and positioning the domestic economy in the European market.

"Our goal is to open doors for new investments, empower export-oriented companies, and enable direct connections with relevant partners from the European Union," said Minister Šibonjić.

The Celje Fair, organized by Celjski sejem, brings together more than 200 exhibitors in the fields of industrial innovations, modern technologies, and production solutions, and represents a key platform for knowledge exchange and establishing business contacts.

In addition to representatives from the Ministry of Economy of ZDK, the delegation includes businessmen from the canton, members of the ZEDA Development Agency, as well as representatives of the ZEPS fair, while the participation of about 30 companies from the Zenica-Doboj Canton adds further strength to the presentation.

During the visit, Minister Šibonjić held a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of industrial companies and institutions, with the aim of establishing concrete forms of cooperation and opening new business opportunities for the ZDK economy.

The visit to Celje confirms the commitment of the ZDK Government to actively work on improving the business environment, internationalizing domestic companies, and strengthening their competitiveness in the demanding European market.

Slovenia remains one of the most important foreign trade partners of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and strong economic ties are further confirmed by numerous successful business examples of BiH companies and citizens in that country.

The Ministry of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton will continue to intensively support such initiatives, with the aim of creating new jobs, attracting investments, and ensuring long-term economic growth.
