New Addition to the British Royal Family: Harry and Meghan Become Parents

(Patria) – The British Royal Family has become richer by one more member – Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, have had a son.

The youngest member of the royal family is seventh in line to the throne and the eighth great-grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II.

Both mother and baby are doing well. Prince Harry attended the birth, which took place in the early morning hours: 'It was the most incredible experience I could have ever imagined. It's unbelievable how women manage... We are both absolutely thrilled and grateful for all the love and support we have received from everywhere,' the Prince shared his excitement with the media.  

The first photos of the baby and the happy parents are expected to be released via their Instagram profile @sussexroyal.

The young couple will have more options when choosing a name, given that their offspring is not in the direct line of succession to the throne, nor will they likely ever be monarch.

The child will be able to have dual citizenship, British through the father and American through the mother.
