Prim. Dr. Avdić: Three on respirators, and these are severe cases

(Patria) - Prim. Dr. Nermin Avdić, Director of the Public Health Institute of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, stated in today's address to the public that 18 people were tested yesterday in the area of that canton.

"During yesterday, 18 people were tested, six are positive - two from Mostar, three from Široki Brijeg, and one from Grude. As for Mostar, we have two additional cases to those we had so far, and now that makes a total of 9. Two clusters have developed, one in the area of the University Hospital Mostar and the other at the Airport where we have two cases, and at SKB we have six cases," emphasized Prim. Dr. Avdić.

"As for the people admitted to the isolation ward, there are seven of them. We have three on respirators, and these are severe cases, one on oxygen, and the others are improving. We are currently reinforced with two epidemiologists, and our team is functioning throughout the HNK, and we have the capacity to advise and help those who need help," he said.
