SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The girls from ŽOK Igman Ilidža achieved great success by winning the Super League of FBiH title and thus qualified for the elite rank of the BiH Premier League for volleyball players among the 10 best teams in the country. After the outbreak of the pandemic and three rounds before the end of the league competition in the Super League of FBiH, North group, the volleyball players coached by Damir Bahić held the first place in the standings without a single loss. After the decision of the Volleyball Federation to end the championship, the Ilidža team had to play two matches with the champion of the North group, the volleyball players of ŽOK Bosna Kalesija.

After 12 years, the BiH Premier League is coming to Ilidža, where matches with the best teams in BiH will be played. This year, only good news has come from ŽOK Igman Ilidža, and the club hopes it will be the same next season and thanks the Municipality of Ilidža, which is their main partner in everything they do. A similar situation is with the handball players of Hrasnica.

The handball players of Hrasnica have qualified for the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the leaders of this club announce a push for the very top of the most elite club competition in our country next season.
The success of the "wolves from under Igman" as their fans affectionately call them is even greater considering that the team is mostly composed of young handball players full of desire for victory, which is a reward for the enormous enthusiasm of the popular coach Fuad Lokvančić Fuća.

On this occasion, the Mayor of the Municipality of Ilidža, Prof. Dr. Senaid Memić, hosted a reception for these teams at the municipality on July 2, 2020. Mayor Memić congratulated them on their success, saying that he is proud of every success of the women from Ilidža, and that success does not come without effort.

He then presented them with a cash prize of 5,000 KM each.
