Reception at the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton: KSO "Bosna" Zenica and OKI "Breza" are new Premier League teams

(Patria) - A working meeting was organized at the premises of the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton with representatives of the Sitting Volleyball Club "Bosna" Zenica and the Disabled Volleyball Club "Breza".

The reason for the meeting was the qualification of these two clubs for the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina in sitting volleyball.

The Minister for Veterans' Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Adnan Sirovica, congratulated the clubs and their players on qualifying for the Premier League.

- We now have four Premier League teams from the Zenica-Doboj Canton, and this is proof that we are on the right track when we decided to increase funds for disabled sports and provide more significant support to disabled sports in Zenica-Doboj Canton - said Sirovica.

The representative of the Sitting Volleyball Club "Bosna" Zenica, Ferhad Šehić, emphasized that the clubs' results confirm the quality of work and the continuous development of disabled sports in Zenica-Doboj Canton.

- We, disabled individuals, have proven that disabled sports in Zenica-Doboj Canton not only serve for the rehabilitation of war veterans with disabilities but that we can compete with the best, both on the domestic and international stage.

- Without the support of the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs, all of this would not have been possible, and on behalf of the club, I thank you for your support - said Šehić.

In addition to the regular activities of disabled sports associations and clubs, the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs co-finances the organization of domestic and international tournaments and other sports events through special programs.
