Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdić and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirko Šarović spoke today with the Director of the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina Miro Džakula and Deputy Director of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zijad Svrabović, who informed them about the issue of increased traffic at the northern border of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Rača near Bijeljina, caused by the closure of the Croatian and Serbian borders for freight vehicle traffic, as well as the rerouting of traffic through Bosnia and Herzegovina and the prevention of problems in that part of the country, reports the Patria news agency.
Džakula and Svrabović informed Chairman Zvizdić that, although there are indications of increased traffic, there are still no major congestions at customs terminals and traffic is flowing normally.
During the meeting, it was concluded that, if necessary, a third shift will be introduced at border crossings with the aim of faster, better, and more efficient traffic through Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Chairman Zvizdić emphasized that it is necessary to ensure efficiency in accepting freight and passenger vehicles so that overall traffic proceeds smoothly.
