Prijedor: Roe deer killed in poaching incident

 

Police officers of the Prijedor 1 Police Station have conducted a criminal investigation of P.B. (1987) from Prijedor, due to grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of illegal hunting, reports the Patria News Agency.

Through the conducted criminal investigation, police officers determined that the suspect, together with a minor, committed the criminal offense in the past fifteen days in the locality of Miska Glava, city of Prijedor.

The suspects committed the criminal offense by using a firearm - (a military rifle M-48) to hunt a roe deer during the specified period, and they were not members of the Ljubija Hunting Association at the time of the hunt. The rifle and a certain amount of ammunition were temporarily confiscated from the suspect P.B.

The documentation and completion of the case are underway, after which a report on the committed criminal offenses of illegal hunting and unauthorized production and trafficking of weapons or explosive materials will be submitted to the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka, it was announced from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska.
