Before SIPA comes for him, Forto will be heard by the PSBiH Anti-Corruption Committee

(Patria) - The Anti-Corruption Committee of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina will publicly hear the Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, on Tuesday for two issues, the committee said.

In addition to the Southern Interconnection project, for which a hearing was previously announced for February 4, representatives of the BiH Ministry of Communications and Transport will also be heard regarding the Law on the Agency for the Provision of Air Navigation Services of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHANSA).

Earlier, the Anti-Corruption Committee of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament raised the issue of the need to hear Forto due to the persistent pushing of amendments to the BHANSA Law, known among parliamentarians as the "son-in-law law".

These amendments to the law, which is again in procedure after being rejected in the BiH Parliament, among other things, stipulate that members of the BHANSA leadership no longer have a limited number of terms. Davorin Primorac heads this state agency, and according to the current law, this would be his last term in that position. Primorac is also the son-in-law of Dragan Čović, the leader of the ruling HDZ.

However, Forto will be heard for a third time.

At the last session of the Committee on Transport and Communications of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, held on January 22, a decision was made for another public hearing of Minister Forto, this time due to the poor performance of the Ministry he heads and because he has not complied with the conclusion of the House of Representatives regarding the Road Traffic Safety Law for a year and a half.

That hearing, according to information obtained by Faktor from the Committee, will be held on February 11.

We remind you that the portal Istraga.ba announced the imminent arrest of Minister Forto as part of an investigation into construction crime on Bjelašnica, so this will be a kind of preparation for the President of Our Party for hearings at SIPA.
