Tuzla has always been a city of sports throughout history. Respected on the international stage as well. On this day, March 20, 1989, the Women's Basketball Club Jedinstvo from Tuzla won the European champion title in Florence, after defeating the famous Primigi 74:70.
The team was led by Mihajlo Miki Vuković, and included Razija Mujanović, Mara Lakić, Stojanka Došić, Naida Hot, Smilja Rađenović, Zorica Dragičević, Jadranka Savić, Ilvana Zvizdić, Vesna Pođanin, Dragana Jeftić…
