23 years ago: April 3 and 4 were fatal for Banja Luka, Mostar, Sarajevo, Bosanski Brod...

The Presidency of the Socialist Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at a session held on April 4, 1992, adopted a conclusion to mobilize units of the Territorial Defense of the City of Sarajevo and all municipalities of SRBiH, as well as the entire reserve composition of the then militia of SRBiH, writes the news agency Patria.

At the same session, it was concluded that the JNA should be asked to return the weapons and material-technical means of the municipal and regional staffs of the Territorial Defense of BiH, which the JNA had previously taken over and placed under its control.

That night, paramilitary units of the SDS carried out an attack on some police stations in the city of Sarajevo.

On this day, in that war year of 1992, Arkan's Serbian Guard, after four days of incursion and brutal killing of Bosniaks, completely took control of Bijeljina.

On Bosanski Brod, the former JNA and SDS launched a general attack with fire from mortars, cannons and MRLs.

The day before, on April 3, the "Serbian defense forces" took control of Banja Luka.

On the same day, in front of the "Mostarski bataljon" barracks in the city on the Neretva, a tanker filled with explosives exploded, marking the beginning of the war in that city, which was exposed to the terror of JNA reservists from Montenegro for more than a month.
