SARAJevo, (Patria) - Tonight, friends gathered in Posušje and lit candles for the eight who died in the village of Tribistovo in the municipality of Posušje.
N1 reporters report that this morning friends wanted to visit them. They knocked on doors and windows, and called them. One friend broke a window and found them dead.
The tragedy has shaken the entire Posušje, and citizens say they do not remember such a tragedy.
“I know everything. Sad, sad… I knew their parents, not the youth. I have never heard such news in Posušje, in 77 years, never, sad,” said one visibly shaken gentleman to N1.
The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at its 41st extraordinary telephone session, adopted the Decision on declaring January 2, 2021, as a Day of Mourning in Bosnia and Herzegovina, due to the tragic deaths of eight young people from the Municipality of Posušje from the consequences of gas poisoning.
